Scott Brown grew up in Oakdale, MN. It was apparent at a very young age that Scott had a passion for sports and competition. As he got older that passion showed in his athletic ability and willingness to be a student of the game. A graduate from Tartan High School class of 1992. At Tartan he competed in football, hockey, and baseball. From there Scott served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves. During his service he gained the discipline to be an elite athlete that competed both locally and nationally. Scott was one of the best slowpitch softball players in Minnesota and nationally pitched for Team USA in 2010. Currently holds the highest on base average in a conference season at .827. Holds 18 world tournament wins with multiple individual awards like most valuable player, all tournament team, top offensive player and top defensive player. Inducted into the Minnesota USSSA Hall of Fame along with his father. His wife Erin will be inducted in 2016 as well. Scott was also elected to go into the USSSA National Hall of Fame. Softball opened up many doors and lead him to become an invaluable part of the start up of Combat Sports in 2005. Through the 11 years of being the North American Sales Manager he obtained the knowledge of the ins and the outs of the industry. Scott now brings all the years of knowledge as an elite athlete, a service member and national sales manager to PHD Sports. As a partner he will be focusing primarily on sales, marketing and growing strategic partnerships with others in the industry.
Mike Myers went to Robbinsdale High School and lived in Brooklyn Center, MN. During his time at Robbinsdale High he participated in multiple school sports. Post high school he attended Dunwoody College of Technology to pursue a career in the trades. As a sheet metal fabricator, Mike worked for 20 years fabricator. Over his 20 years he moved into purchasing and also became part owner of the business. Mike is a very active member of his his community by being a coach in baseball, football and being a Cub Scout/Boy Scout Leader. Was on the planning commission panel for 9 years. Mike has been very successful in starting up 3 other businesses in the past 10 years with great success. Sales and marketing has been a very big part in his business successes. During the past 3 years Mike has been a instrumental cog for PHD sports and has a devotion to seeing PHD Sports and athletes excel in everything they do.
John Economy grew up in Oakdale, MN. As a young child sports was a way of life and his zeal as an athlete was apparent. Competitive nature is driven by the want to be better every day and grow as a person. Attended North St. Paul High School and graduated in 2012. Competed in baseball and basketball for the Polars. After that went on to play baseball at Century College then transferred to Minnesota State University. Moved back to the Oakdale area and very close to completing a marketing degree at Rasmussen College. John has worked in customer service and retail sectors for the past several years. John's dedication, discipline and drive pushes him to be the best at everything in life. He will be bring 3 “D’s” of life as the Head of Operations for PHD sports.
